Where have you been? Personally, we get that question a lot. Although it’s not really a matter of where as much as it should be “What have you been doing?”. See, we have been building the Positive Approach Group, Inc. from the ground up. In 2007 it started as event planning and wedding planning  services with Positive Approach Events, grew in 2010 with the addition of our event facility VENUE at the King’s Centre in Downtown Johnson City, TN, and over the last two years has grown to include decor and lighting with Pop Event Co, vintage trailer rentals for special events in Tin Can Event Rentals and most recently with venue management and our second event venue with Model City Event Center located in Downtown Kingsport, Tennessee. So we’ve been a LITTLE busy.

But we’re growing with intention. The Positive Approach Group, Inc. doesn’t want to just “say” that we have a few divisions within the special events industry, our company wants to purposefully and with intention, grow our services in the Tri-Cities Tennessee and Southwest Virginia regions. But that takes great people..and so The Positive Approach Group, Inc. is HIRING!

Up first, we need some really good event staff at our event facility. We have an amazing group of people to work with, and want to find a few more to work in both Kingsport, Tennessee and Johnson City, Tennessee. It’s important for you to know that we are a family oriented company (Husband and Wife owners), and so we look at our employees as family, not just “staff”. Our General Manager has been with us since our first wedding (in another role) over 10 years ago..what does that say?

EVENT STAFF JOB POSTING

The Positive Approach Group, Inc. is currently seeking to hire highly motivated, responsible individuals for on-call or contracted event staff positions to work up special events in both our Johnson City and Kingsport, Tennessee locations!

GENERAL JOB PURPOSE:

Event Staff position provides general support for events including ushering, guest services, on-going maintenance during events and event set up/break down. Based on resume possible opportunities in marketing and social media assistance.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Effective interpersonal skills in order to deal with guests

· Serves as a greeter for each event assigned

· Serve where needed or as support to other tasked team members at each event

Required Education:

-High School Graduate
